      <description>Is it possible to make direct complaints to Ebay, regarding their actions of sellers choice of couriers. Hermes has no accountibilty of delivery of goods, equally the seller gives Hermes the buyers details and then removes all responsibility from themseleves, once they're item is sold and paid for. There is a great emphasis on the buyer how to return items that Ebay can monitor and track, but nothing on delivery services, which has far more issues for the buyer; no item, money gone, chasing courier, no actual attempt to deliver.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;It is perfectly possible for a seller to arrange tracked delivery; most towns and many villages have access to Royal Mail through Post Offices.&amp;nbsp; It may cost more but they are very transparent and - if they cannot deliver - leave a card with a location where the item can be collected in a delivery office or redeliverded&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Once the seller has a non prooving attempted delivery tracking number, both Ebay and the seller wash their hands from the dispute. All of this happened this evening! If you've opened a case as item not recieved, it gets closed and no effective chance of appeal. You as the buyer, then have to spend your time, trying to contact the courier for an 'admission letter' from the company. If they don't produce one, no refund for you. Forget about buyers protection. That only comes into play if the seller has no tracking details and you didnt get the item, so i conclude you the buyer have 30 days to track down the courier and get them to give you your item. Good luck with a Company such as Hermes, whilst the seller doesn't have to do anything more.&lt;BR /&gt;Even Ebay admitted to me they've had quite a few complaints from this courier. Quite a few? The amount in volume reviews puts War and Peace in the shade.&lt;BR /&gt;I bought a phone from a Company, who's choice of courier decided to leave my phone with an unauthorised person. Did i have to chase the courier for the phones whereabouts? No, the company did and rightly so. Surely its all part of consumer rights, which i assume doesn't apply to Ebay as a whole means of buying and selling?</description>

      <description>I've had problems with Hermes too &amp;amp; wouldn't have purchased item had I known seller would decide to use Hermes.</description>

      <description>The law says different from Ebay's reaction, which I thought so.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have experienced a problem with a delivery firm after buying an item from an online retailer, you should raise the issue with the retailer as the delivery firm’s client is the retailer rather than you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have an issue regarding an item you've bought online (for example, from ASOS, Amazon, or a similar retailer based in Europe), you should take the issue up with the retailer – you have a contract with them, not the delivery company.&lt;BR /&gt;If the item hasn’t been delivered you can cancel an order and the firm should repay you in under 30 days.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Ebay DO NOT sell anything, you buy from sellers using ebay site to advertise on.&lt;BR /&gt;No point having tracking if no one is going to believe it, ebay always side with seller as they proved delivery.&lt;BR /&gt;According to your statement above, you need to contact seller, who will say, ITEM DELIVERED, same as carrier.&lt;BR /&gt;Have a look on CAB website for help with this.</description>
