Paypal problem, can't access account

I have been unable to access my Paypal account for months, forgotten password issue; reset methods and phone calls do not work as phone number linked with account is not being recognised(correct number shows on screen but phone does not ring when it says they are ringing), 'receive an email' shows an email address that has not been used for 15+ years and is now invalid, phone calls to help line go round in circles and do not recognise the number linked to the account, speak to no one but a bot and which eventually says unable to help at this time

payments are still going into my account from ebay and discogs, haven't withdrawn for month(before lockdown)

any ideas or help gratefully received, many thanks

Try contact options here or post in the PayPal Community Centre > https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/home

You have to log on to post on the Paypal Community Centre, I can't log on - Paypal 'help' takes you round in circles and is fruitless

Thanks for the link, but have already exhausted that help page and got nowhere - I may have to write to them
