My buyer asked that I revise shipping cost to Italy, currently £12.40 to Italy, suggesting that I contact ebay for assistance. All that I seem to uncover is lots of pre-prepared answers that leave my head spinnig, help

the item you sold doesn't have postage costs to Italy,

you have to send them an invoice for the cost of the postage, make sure you use a properly tracked and insured option for an item of that price

Cost of for sale item together with postage giving total breakdown sent and acknowledged. The buyer is looking for other cost options. My cost including insurance, is based on Royal Mail, do eBay for example offer cheaper services?

no ebay don't, tell the buyer your costs stand and if they don't like it you can cancel the transaction
