Ask eBay to step in.

Hi, I have an open case with a seller about an item that hasn’t arrived. I want to ask eBay to step in but under the take action tab of the case there is no option for this. I have spoke with the seller but have had no joy.

You have to wait until 9 days after opening case before option to ask ebay to step in appears.

Thankyou. It said I need to take action before the 14th, I thought that included asking eBay to step in. Thankyou for your help.

You have 30 days from opening case to escalate or it will time out in seller's favour, better earlier than later,
ignore seller asking you to wait.
If you get refund & item arrives, you can repay.

As you would have been told when you opened the case you cannot escalate until AFTER 8 days.
