    <description>&lt;P&gt;Tracking is for benefit of sellers, buyers will always choose cheapest option.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Buyers are covered by ebay MBG, if you can't prove by online trackin trackig that item was delivered you have to refund buyer if they claim not received.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You should also add tracking to ebay when marking as posted.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have recently upgraded to a business account in order to achieve Top Seller status however, it is only showing this in my location, the UK, and not globally.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The reason appears to be that I have been penalised for not adding tracking info when I mark an order as dispatched, even though the buyer has not paid for any tracking and this is made clear when they make a purchase. There is an option on all of my listings to use a tracked service but it is more expensive, obviously, so buyers rarely opt for this. Is it the buyers who are marking this in their feedback? It is unfair that buyers opt not to use the tracked service but then expect tracking but then even more unfair that ebay take this into consideration.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems a little short-sighted of ebay that this should form part of requirements to achieve Top Seller status. Any idea how I go about complaining about this?       <description>Thanks Tobias, I appreciate your reply however, due to the service selected by the buyer, which as you say is 99/100 the cheapest, there is no tracking available. It is an untracked service by the Royal Mail. How can I add tracking when there is no tracking to add?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I get that the buyer should be covered. My point is that the seller should be judged against it when evaluating whether a top seller or not. I hit all the marks other than this one. I can't possibly pay for the tracked upgrade out of my own pocket, I would end up losing a lot of money.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I guess I should just hide the cost in the product....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The only way to avoid this is to only offer a tracked service or allow the extra £1 in the price of your goods to cover the cost&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you send items which are large letter over 100 grams or larger iyems &amp;amp; use either eBAy RM labels or buy RM post over the counter.....then this included 2D tracking as part of the price......not a full tracking but a delivery confirmation number at least&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thank you corred, I was afraid it would be something like that. I opted to purchase direct from RM as ebay seemed to want to take me through to some sort of RM business account at one point. I'll try again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the help though.</description>
