Question Re: refunding a buyer in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

It would help to know why you are refunding as if you refund the wrong way then you can end with a defect and pay the fees

if it is a return or not as described then it has to be done through the resolution centre and you do not refund until you have your item back

Just out of curiousity why could you not send that damaged item back

Did you get a refund?

Ask the buyer to open a relevant case (not received or not as described) far right of item on their My eBay Purchase History page. When you accept it if f you don't want the item back you will be able to issue refund without issuing a return postage label.

If the buyer has asked to cancel the transaction go to the cancel link on right of item on your sold page and choose "Buyer asked to cancel", Once buyer accepts it the refund is automatic.
