      <title>Sent a parcel via Hermes/Packlink issue</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So, I sent a parcel through eBay's Packlink system and chose Hermes. I've done it a few times over the last few months and not had an issue until a week or so ago. During the week, the parcel's tracking wasn't updating and when I queried Hermes, at first, they were talking about trying to find it as it may be lost. However, a follow-up message they sent a few days later talked about having to contact "the retailer" which they explained was ebay's packlink partner, not them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, I'm going to contact ebay tomorrow about this as I'm thoroughly confused. However, in saying that, I feel like Hermes is fobbing me off. And of course, the buyer has opened a request which I completely understand. Does anyone have anything to offer on this Hermes/Packlink/eBay situation?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It does seem when one uses any ' middlemen'&amp;nbsp; to help with a sold item,&amp;nbsp; that is,&amp;nbsp; Click &amp;amp; Collect,&amp;nbsp; GSP,&amp;nbsp; Packlink,&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;it invites problems.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sell,&amp;nbsp; it,&amp;nbsp; pack it,&amp;nbsp; sort it .....&amp;nbsp; via Royal Mail,&amp;nbsp; my mantra half pinched from British Rail !&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you bought through packlink then you have to claim through them and not Hermes&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I would never use packlink and just arrange my own packing&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I use Royal MAil in most cases but if ( like today) I have an item that is too large for RM i use Hermes by buying my own postage on their site.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Much better than having to go through a middleman&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You dont need to contact ebay&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You need to refund the buyer through the dispute&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;They dont have to wait until you sort it out with PAcklink&lt;/P&gt;</description>
