Adding to Ruby's correct advice, when you click on the advanced / business tool after selecting Sell, ignore that it says it's for business and high volume sellers only, it isn't, it's for everyone to use, and there you do have more control over your account, deselecting options 'imposed' on your listing.

Is there any way of disabling the new method of listing, that's been introduced without consultation? It automatically enters the wrong details, the wrong postage, and vague descriptions that have to be changed. It wastes enormous amounts of time having to check and correct all this.

Use the Advanced/Business Listing Form. Ebay do not interfere on there.

don't click on 'sell one like this'

always use the 'Create a new listing'
