Quick question please

I was just wondering why I have several items showing as 'tracking available' (Simple delivery) but when I click on tracking most of them don't show 'posted to you'.
Please can anyone tell me why?
Not the end of world but can't find answers on Ebay

I think it might be because, when a seller generates a label, it’ll show as dispatched and that tracking is available.

And it doesn’t matter the time of day, or even night, it’s generated.

It’ll not be until it’s scanned that tracking will be available.

It’s just eBay’s way - complicate matters, as usual.

Instead of clicking on the link you should manually enter the tracking number on the courier's tracking page for a more accurate & up-to-date status on your parcels... I have prevously found that while the platform is telling you "dispatched" the courier is only acknowledging that a label was bought and that they are still "expecting it".

Thank you. Sometimes it is several days before it gets 'posted' to me
