Fake website selling ebay items!

There is a fake website selling items they have copied from legitimate selling platforms (Vinterior, Chairish, 1stDibs and of course Ebay) for only 25% of their retail price. Checking this morning they have copied a number of my listings and many from other ebay sellers. It goes without saying that I have no agreement with them to offer my stock for sale, indeed I have never had any contact with them. I have reported them to 'Report Fraud' but that was two weeks ago and their website is still up; if more people who are affected report them it may carry some weight, or if ebays legal team would take it on, I'm sure they could find a solution.

It is worth checking to see if they have copied your listings, if they do 'sell' it to an unsuspecting customer, that customer might well beat a path to your door when they don't receive their goods!

A quick reverse image search will take them to your / my original listing on ebay. If you are a business seller, then your physical address is shown in 'seller contact information' in the bar directly below the item description.

Ebay moderators have now removed the address of the fake website as, apparently, mentioning it breaches their rules. So if you want to find out if someone is offering your items on a scam website I would suggest an image search of the main photo in your listing.

It's possible, but my personal opinion is that most "customers" would then work out what had happened and the two weren't connected and then most of the rest would contact you via ebay from which you could explain.

Hopefully, no-one does arrive at anyone's door. Have you actually contacted ebay about it? What did they say?

I'm not sure why you are trying to minimise this issue, obviously it doesn't effect you, as you have no items for sale! Unless you are in some way connected to the fake website in question?

I've found it now and yeah...it's dodgy. However, I doubt many buyers (if any) would ever find it - I Googled a few item titles and whilst the eBay, Vinted, Vinterior etc. listings would be returned this website was nowhere to be found. One of the titles for an unusual item even had a pipe character in it but I gave up after looking through the third page of Google for it.

Anyway, reported to the domain registrar, WordPress, the Google Safe Browsing Portal and the NCSC.
