I've just had a message when signing in about receiving faster payments.

I look at the most recent item - paid yesterday - and I'd normally receive that tonight.

It's now saying the 3rd.

What's happened ?

I'm still waiting for funds to be moved from pending to available for an item sold yesterday morning.

It says available on 3rd April, but still in pending, so I'm wondering if there's a bank holiday delay?

An agent said the extra day was due to extra precautions against fraud and that it would clear before midnight tonight

It didn’t sound convincing

They normally clear in the final hour of the day, so the wait is nearly always more than the 24 hours they advertise
