topic Re: Why doesn't the Buy it Now Price show on my advert? in Seller Central

Oh OK - I had a quick look at that, so I got the picture. I have been on
Ebay since 2004 and mostly bought PC's and related bits. I have been
retired nearly 15 years so not been active that much here. I know people
used to get p**d off when halfway through an auction a buy-now kicked in. I
think Ebay must have introduced new rules around that.

This helps some people and hinders others. Example: I had a Seagate 80mb
disc go down and needed an exact match to swap parts. After searching the
whole of Ebay I found one and it was in auction with 6 days to go! So I got
the seller to add a buy now price and bingo. There were 10's of these on
sale but only that exact disc was of use to me.

Is the seller able to withdraw from the auction when there are bids in
place? TIA.

Cheers
