topic Re: Buyer Sent Cancellation Request After I Accepted Offer - EBay Wants To Return Balance & Card in Seller Central

Yes, this has happened to me and for some reason more and more buyers seem to want to cancel orders within minutes of purchase. As people have said, its a matter of the buyers funds clearing. These days when it happens, I will always accept the cancellation request but don't rush to do so. I allow for their pending funds to clear first, which usually happens within 24 hrs. As long as you haven't printed off the label, the postage costs are refunded automatically, so you are usually no worse off (just annoyed). As I told one buyer who messaged me, I haven't received their money yet, its being processed. When I do, I'll send it back to them, lol. Not so long ago, before the ebay balance, the full amount would be refunded from your bank account, and that was before you had received the buyers actual payment.
