https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Seller-Central/Buy-now-or-auction/m-p/7931866#M756865 <P>You could have a bit of both if you wanted to.&nbsp; I used to do auctions but now I do bins (buy it now).&nbsp; You learn along the way.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>What tipped me over to bins exclusively was I had an item for sale on auction, it was purchased by a buyer who purchased those type of items and then re-sold them.&nbsp; I sent her a beautiful garment, in pristine condition, and it was delivered on a Saturday.&nbsp; The next day she listed it as a bin and resold it the same day for double the price.&nbsp; On the following Wednesday she marked down my feedback leaving 3* (in those days you could check - you can't now).&nbsp; She did that to a lot of sellers - buying low, leaving low stars but selling for double / triple price.&nbsp; I blocked her and reported.&nbsp; A few months later after she had dinged other sellers her account was changed to a different name (but continued her behaviour) and then she disappeared.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Every day is a school day!</P> Mon, 22 Sep 2025 09:21:43 GMT kyanyama 2025-09-22T09:21:43Z
