The reason<BR />behind all this isn't to protect buyers as there are many ways eBay could<BR />have protect. They could refund from linked back accounts or given seller<BR />the option to request payment after delivery. They have the ability to put<BR />holds on available funds. They can freeze or remove accounts or remove the<BR />selling account but that's not what their about. They've calculated they<BR />can make more money from holding sellers funds in their high interest bank<BR />accounts and the longer the better. This is why they've been advertising<BR />for more private sellers to make money from. As a buyer I can say all my<BR />bad experiences have been from buisness sellers &amp; lately I've complained<BR />about them manipulating the remove negative feedback option they have. A<BR />seller made a partial refund for a return before I returned it &amp; claimed it<BR />was missing parts when returned by me. Under this return false return they<BR />had a auto negative feedback removal. I took this up with eBay who refunded<BR />me in full &amp; despite seeing it hadn't been returned &amp; sellers message<BR />saying to keep the item which were sent after they claimed it was returned<BR />eBay stated they couldn't reinstate my feedback. My point is buisness<BR />sellers know how to cheat buyers &amp; the system &amp; don't care. eBay doesn't<BR />care about sellers or buyers and by not treating either in a fair way will<BR />soon be out of buisness. I won't buy from eBay anymore and without buyers<BR />there's no eBay. I'm moving my sales to another platform that knows what<BR />their doing. If eBay brings back fees &amp; fairness I may return.
