Looking for book title

Hi,

I am looking for a book title and\ or auther name but don't know much about it

to be honest, I read a few pages a year or so ago at a library.

It was a supernatural book written by, I think a woman, and started with a

world weary woman in the US parked up when she sees a naked dead body displayed

on the ground as if by a serial killer then the ghost of the dead in her car and asks for help

finding the killer also I remember the ghast saying she didn't want the body to be found

as people would laugh at her?

I think the book was part of a series but not sure

I know it is not much to go on but can anyone help

Thanks for the replies, sorry it took so long to get back

bu ti was checking on fantastic fiction and the look inside

feature on amazon at the Karen Robards and customers

also bought bit and the book wasn't there.

I hadn't tried BookFinder.com but i did after the suggestion

and I need to know the author or book title first.

While it was written by a woman it didn't seem to be a womans

book, not like elloras cave or similar, but as I only read a few

pages I could be wrong about that
