Hi, I was recently permanently banned from eBay from selling, I was quite intrigued and upset when I heard this and was wondering if there's any chance I could get my account reinstated. I rely on eBay quite a lot and I have been with them for around 13 years now. I provided invoices which they requested but they gave no reply but saying I was banned with no actual reasoning. Could anyone help me in this case and has anyone else experienced this?

unknown for such a ban to be reversed.

perhaps it because of you being a private seller selling brand-new high ticket item's.

As above, a few too many brand new items in higher risk categories (mostly with stock photos) likely got you flagged.

The request for invoices were in part to see what the nature of your selling likely was ie private seller or business and whether you had the items in hand or not. It was a fait accompli I think it will be difficult to successfully appeal. If you are going to pursue it, I’d suggest ringing and speaking to one of their agents by phone.

I just go to the help section and find contact eBay. You’ll need to message with the bot and ask to speak to an agent it will eventually give the option of a call back.
