Looking at your two most recent sales they were sold with Simple Delivery Seller Pays.

in this instance on the point of sale eBay will generate a label (normally either Evri or Royal Mail Tracked 48) but charge you for the label.

It is this label you should use. If you used your own postage then that would be at your own cost but you can request a refund of any unused simple delivery labels with 14 days. There is a form that needs completing for each label.

Good evening, I am confused... I use Royal Mail Tracked 48 as my chosen postal service and have never used any other than Royal Mail since 2008. Having checked a sale tonight and obtaining the code which I show at the Post Office, but noticed the tracking number wasn't the usual YA but JJD and lots of numbers , under my sales and costs it Says Royal Mail, under this one it says invalid but has taken payment....Can anyone shine a light on this and do I post .. thank you in advance ..

As a buyer I've had 2 Inpost parcels in the last 10 days. Their tracking numbers are both JJD and lots of numbers. I expect it's an Inpost parcel.

I've never used Inpost to send on ebay.

For the last Simple Delivery item I sold, I received an email with subject: "You made the sale for" ...

In the text it then said: Drop off your item within 2 days. Take your package to the nearest drop-off location for Evri by 26 Nov 2025.

Hopefully you received a similar email - and it will tell you Inpost (or whatever) instead of Evri as highlighted above.
