Purchase sent to wrong address

I recently moved house, so I updated my personal details to the new address.

I did this for my paypal account too.

A few weeks later made a (luckily small) purchase.

T he seller was given the old address for dispatch.

I was told by ebay to contact the courier (Royal Mail) and get it redirected, some chance!

The item was thus delivered to the old address, which I do not have access to.

The item is therefore lost and I have wasted my money.

Ebay was at fault and won't offer any redress or even explain how this happened.

I can't now make any further purchases from ebay for fear that the same will happen again.

Poor show!
