Were they both Simple Delivery items?

If so and they fit the absolute maximum size and weight listed here, just use the label ebay provide.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/posting-items/setting-postage-options/simple-delivery?id=5575#section3

For Simple Delivery when the buyer pays postage, it doesn't cost you anything. You just get a label.

I listed 2 items with £3.38 p&p on each.

Same buyer bought both. ebay has invoiced her for combined postage of £2.82 which is now paid.

It will cost me £5.25 to post as now over 2kg.

How is that right? How do I prevent for future?
