It states in the terms and conditions for SD, and a member of the Community Team has also repeatedly confirmed, that the items sellers send using SD are covered for up to £750.

The cover is for items not delivered and items damaged in transit.

Many members have already said that Ebay have compensated buyers for items which have not been received and items damaged in transit. Items do have to be adequately packaged.

Ebay compensate the buyer, not the seller who will receive the buyer's payment.
