Technical issue with reporting a seller error appear when trying to submit

I'm trying to report a seller on the app I've tried several time when I submit a red box comes up saying they have encounter an error I've deleted the app reinstalled still the same so went on web tried that way on web site still the same anyone having issues

I've had the same problem. The red error box told me the item number was invalid. The seller no longer lists the item and I've questioned here if the reporting form can't recognise unlisted items...

I suggest you see if the error box identifies the problem for you?

Yup same, type in all the info and no can't report. I'm doing you a favour here, ebay, when you're allowing me to get scammed by fake sellers at least let me report them into some abyss you'll ignore. Pretend? No, Report submission failed.

I get the same message... reporting on an insurance seller who I thought was going to cover my item. They denied my claim.
Report submission failed for me as well.

I have also tried after typing in 999 letters reporting a Seller for a policy violation press submit get the same frustrating red box? technical error try later!

I am now beginning to wonder eBay don't want you to report?
