Proof reading??

It seems that newspapers and web media don't bother with proof reading these days and if they do, they don't seem to do it very well?

There's often missing words, bad spelling, juvenile use of wrong words and transposed words and parts of sentences.

How about this howler of transposition from a report on Olivia Colman's speech at the Oscars:-

"She broke down in tears after her read was name out, before delivering a hilarious speech that was hailed the moment of the night."

What howlers have you spotted?

It's about a village with numerous timber-framed buildings.
