Strange eBay virus

Sometimes when I'm browsing the eBay site using my PC, the page redirects to a page stating that I've won an Apple iPhone X. It only happens on eBay.

The odd thing is, it also happens on my iPhone, only when browsing the eBay site. Pressing back up has no effect on both my PC and iPhone and I have to reload the page. I've rum Malwaebytes on my PC and it finds nothing.

Does anyone else experience this on their devices with eBay?

Download Adblockplus (.org) site for your OS/Device/s and you shouldn't see it again.

I've had the same several times. Drives me mad as you can't go back to your search.

I do have Ad blockers though.

I have adblockplus. It's annoying that you can't use the back button to get rid of this redirect..

It only affects eBay which is very odd. It makes me wonder if eBay have allowed it as it's on multiple devices. Like how they have sponsored links to get revenue from accidental clicks. I've always thought it strange that they have sponsored links when they are making 10% on each sale already. Maybe they're being paid to have this pop-up.
