I expect you have seen that ad for a car hire company, who say, "We will pick you up"

OK, good idea.

But what happens when you take the car back?

Do they take you home?

If it is the one I am thinking of mustard, NO.

The reason I know this is, when a woman reversed into my parked car my insurance company arranged for them to supply me a car and when in their office I said as I leave early for work, when I get my car back I shall phone you to collect yours and leave the keys with my wife.

I was then informed we do not collect the car, you bring it back to us and make your own way home. I told them to keep their car and I would be phoning my insurance company to complain about them and tell them that that company were of no use to me.

They did change their mind after I said that but in all honesty I think that was only because they could see a lucrative contract going out the door and wanted to keep in with the insurance company.
