Another great symbol of Britain many would like to do away with. She has served us well and has been a great asset. If and when the day comes when the population decides to cash in the Monarchy I hope I will be long gone, I just cannot see her being successfully replaced as head of state by Janet street porter or Ben Elton.

I'll second that. She is still young at heart, looks wonderfull and is doing amazingly well for a lady of almost 90. She has a sharper brain than many half her age. Gawd save the Queen indeed !!!
