Ditto, I'd echo that. PC Advisor forums are the first place I look if I'm struggling with an IT issue. I generally get a really quick reply and the people on there are very helpful.

Hello

A while ago, i occasinally utilised the forums of Computer Active magazine. They were really useful and the members would post advice in non jargon language. Ive just been on the Computer Active site and the forums are no longer there. I know there was a bit of bickering on the 'off topic' pages but I wouldnt have thought they would remove the 'help' section from it,.

Does anyopne know of any forums relating to everyday IT stuff ?

Thanks

You could have a look at the PC Advisor Forums.

Off topic I remember many years ago an article in Computer Active where the writer suggested that many of the uses a PC had in the home would be done by separate bits of eqipment such as a phone or tablet, people would be surfing the web from a recliner in the garden.

Just how right he was.
