On the BBC bews today it says ........ Prime Minister David Cameron is considering temporary bans on British-born jihadists in Iraq and Syria returning to the UK.

Why temporary? Kick them out altogether.

Wasn't that long ago that calls were being made for intervention by Britain and the US to support the rebels in Syria. The same rebels that are now called Jihadists.

I'm confused - are we now supporting President Bashar al-Assad or are we still supporting the rebels - if we are still supporting the rebels then why are we getting all het up about UK citizens going over to Syria and assisting in the fighting.

If we are now supporting the established government led by Bashar al-Assad then that is a massive U-turn!

It's not an uncommon story when a rebel group starts fighting against a government, different factions emerge with the intention of seizing power and usually ending up fighting each other.

In Syria al Qeada are now involved, the situation is now a bit more complicated than when the insurrection first started.

It may not be legally possible to make people stateless even for a temporary period.

So in August 2013 David Cameron loses a vote for Britain to take direct military action against the al-Assad regime in Syria and just one year later is seeking to penalise those who have unilaterally taken the decision to travel to Syria in order to fight against that same regime.

I guess that's politics for you!

Yes they should get rid of them all!!!!. This country is getting overun by foreigners. You can hardly hear any english speaking people anywhere now. Come over take our jobs,take our housing,take our Benefits. What else,then they wonder why we go to war with other Countries. I think everyone should have to live in their own countries unless they have a proper career type job and a way of supporting themselves. They come over as they know they are onto a good thing!!!!. I heard some latvian speaking men the other day walking ahead of me saying "have got no money", "have got no money". NOT GOT NO JOB FIRST. Thats what they should be saying if anything. They all looked as if they were drugged up or boozed up aswell!. Who do they think they are????!. GET RID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

The problem is that "individuals" who go over there get trained in anti - british ways and then come back over here to put those ways to ill effect. If they are kept out. No problemo!!
