I have one mai e-mail adress and for some reason it has died on me.

I now find that I want to use the e-mail adress again but I don't know how to go about doing it.

If anyboby can help me to sort and get it working again, it's worth £5 in any charity you care to name.

How long ago did you last use it and who is the isp company, freeserve, virgin etc.

How do you normally access your email, via a proxy like outlook or direct from the email provider`s site.

How has it died. Is it that you cant access your account.

If so, try going to the mail part of the provider`s website

If you cant access your account, there should be a link to help you do so.

Hot Box ...... I would normally log imto the isp website from my list of favourites at the top of my Home page and go from there. I've tried that just receantly but the option has just dissappeared.

it has died because it no longer workes as it did before.

There doesn't seem to be a link to the BT isp website. In fact, there dosn't seem to be a link at all'

There is a link to send info to a link of my choice if I want the link to go to a secon'td e-mail address but, because I don't have another one. I'm screwed.

Try this to get into BT

https://signin1.bt.com/login/emailloginform

and make a throwaway account with gmail so you can keep the BT account

for personal stuff and the gmail for general net stuff like forums Ebay etc

Hot box and Paul4757 were the closest to dishing up some useful info and although it will now take Hotmail until 08/26/14 to update my account, at least I can now get my old e-mails back so they both deserve a prize.

Just send me an e-mail or an address where I can send a £5.00 reward to any charities and I'll get it done, toot suite
