The sister of a friend of mine legally grows Marijuana on her farm in Colorado and sells it to the Pharmaceutical companies.

She makes a very good income from it. Her security expenses are high though...

Trouble is the set up fees in Colorado are that high, most 'growers' have stayed - illegal

Larger businesses have moved in, because they can pay the fees and for the safety measures

and as has been said, doing it 'publicly' means you need heavy and costly Security

And most of it, is still a cash industry as Banks etc , will not open accounts for these companies , because of heavy handed FEDERAL Banking laws. Doesn't matter what the State legislates, Federal authorities still count it as illegal earnings from the Drug trade
