She said to me earlier, "Next time we go down town, remind me to pick up a big cardboard box from the skip behind PC World."

"What's that for?" says I all innocent like.

"I need to pack a load of toys for #1 son, his wife and kids so we can post it down to them." she says.

"When are we going down to buy the presents" I ask.

She replied, "I've already bought them."

That's when I looked at herall strange like.

"What is it?" she asked.

"If you have already bought the presents, why didn't you just put them in the box and give them to #1 son when he was here last week?"

Her answer ........ "I forgot"

Daft as a box of wet frogs.

Obviously she is so busy she can't be expected to remember everything. Because we are so good at multi tasking you men expect it all the time, we are only human after all.

Hummmmm??? Perhaps, just perhaps, you are right. However, in the interests of your own personal well being, I would not push the matter, lest your dearly beloved should hear of it. Speaking of which:
