Hypothetically, in time, these shares rise to £10 each

The advisors tell people to sell now before the price drops.

Seems logical, but who do they sell them to, who would want them at that price, when the same advisors are telling people not to buy them yet, but wait until the price drops.

Or am I missing something, and it is not as simple as that

That's just over £12,000 per PO employee.(they were all given 2,500 shares each).

Many of the shares will have been bought up by pension funds which help people with company pensions so I can't see a problem with that.

Shares should be sold at the correct price and as an Investment, for FUTURE growth, not sold cheap, so they can sold for a quick buck by spivs

Yes, it will be interesting to see how many Royal Mail staff have confidence in their own company - they were all given 725 shares each, free - and how many cash them in.

Will they be toffs or spivs or investors?
