Just in case anyone is experiencing Windows Updates asking to be implemented over and over again, this is a known problem which has been posted all over varying forums. KB2760411, KB2760588, and KB2760583 .

Microsoft have said they will look at it, and rectify. In the meantime, just ignore them, let the little shield show as yellow, or disable updates for a while until the fix appears.

The updates apply to all versions of Windows from what I can gather. Using XP at home and work and both the same.

Aren't those updates only for parts of MS Office 2007?
