This week I have added my credit card details to my account after trying to prove my age so that I can bid on a cordless saw. I am retired and have been a eBay member for over 25 years. Then the questions and answers link just sends me on a loop. Bidding attempts just show a red box with the words - Your bid has been blocked. Please resolve by clicking on the Continue button below. I would gladly press the button if it !###### existed!
I have cleared my cache, logged on from different devices, I even tried the verifymyage website and I'm still getting nowhere! I verified my age a few months ago and it was straight forward. but not today. 3 hours left on the auction!!!

·1 week ago · EditedNot necessary to make any payment by Credit Card --- but --- Currently only a ( monthly payment ) Personal named Credit Card entry on file to confirm your age is acceptable to eBay --- nothing else will do !! --- an everyday use Debit Card will not be accepted.
Perhaps a friend or family member can buy on your behalf ?.
