WATCH LIST - LISTS - POSSIBLE HICCUP
WATCH LIST.
When adding an item to a list other than WATCH LIST the system adds the item to Watch list. as well
When trying to untic Watch List all other selected list entries are removed.
What is supposed to happen ?
A number of us use separate lists so Watch List does not exceed it's limit.
Another software change that needs more testing ?

·1 week agoeBay changed the way the Watch List works a couple of years ago so that deleting an item from the Watch List also deletes from other lists as well. The same is not true of deleting items from custom lists; you are given the option to delete from only that list at that time.
You may be better off treating the Watch List as the old "All Lists", which showed all items on all lists.
I believe that while custom lists are limited to 200 items (at least that was the limit last time I checked), the Watch List can hold many more items that that.
You can report the issue to eBay, but eBay has not seen fit to change the way it works as the result of complaints so far.
