Sold an item in the UK to a UK buyer but Ebay thinks the item is in the US so is charging them VAT | Technical Issues

Hi, I've not been able to get in touch with Ebay UK support. I called their number and tried to speak to a live agent.My listing has a UK address, but originally my account was a US based account. My UK based buyer has tried paying but is being charged a large amount of VAT as if this is a US based purchase. I am not sure how to correct this for my buyer as Ebay support has not been responsive. Please advise as to how best to solve this issue? Thanks
