Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For Tracking Not Automatically Uploading
Summary: technthread reported an issue with a Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For label purchased through eBay, where the tracking number did not upload automatically. marco@ebay confirmed that the tracking should upload automatically and offered to report it to the IT team if it occurs again, advising technthread to notify them should the issue persist. technthread agreed to update if the problem happens in future transactions.
I bought a Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For (Letter) label for item number 318664606257 through eBay. The tracking number didn’t upload to the order automatically and I had to manually do it.
I used signed for to get the delivery scan on eBay. I appreciate the logic in not uploading it for a standard letter but Signed For shouldn’t be bypassed in the same way. I rarely use Signed For services here so I’m not sure if this happens every time or if it is a one off glitch.

I've just double checked for you, and this should be added automatically since it was purchased through eBay. I was checking the item in question, and I can see the transaction is basically completed, but I will flag it anyway, but since this was done already, I am not sure they will be able to replicate or fix the issue in question. So, if this happens again, could you please let me know, so I can report it to our IT team?
