·3 days agoBeen trying multiple times to upload a photo to a seller, but it fails every time without explanation.
The space for the image is blank apart from showing "0%".
Very unhelpful, and delaying transactions.
Please correct the issue asap.

The resolved issue on this thread was for photos not uploading to listings. From your recent reports the photo upload is not working for uploading into messages. That has been reported to tech and they are currently investigating.

·2 days agoI have just had a sale of an item where I have had to confirm with the buyer if the correct item has been ordered as the some of the photos on the listing are not displaying, this is not a new upload and the images were previously there. i was able to send a picture on messages this time now that appears to have been fixed. seems to be fixing one issue and moving it on.
I understand they are working to fix it all but at present its not fixed and my latest succesful upload has only 1 photo with multiple missing

As the original ticket for this was resolved I will need to report your example to tech. Can you provide a screen shot showing the upload failed message, the item number or link if its a draft and confirm if your working through the desktop/laptop or app.

·4 days agoOrdered 2 heaters only one sent but in the messages the seller is saying he needs a photo of the sent item before sending the other one or giving refund but my photo just will not upload, tried 2 different computers so must be a fault with eBay!

Thank you for your patience while tech worked on the fix. They have confirmed this issue as resolved. Photo uploads should be back working as normal. Users may need to refresh the page or sign out and back in and try the upload again.

·4 days agoWe have the same problem ordered 2 heaters and only one sent but seller demanding a photo of the one sent with attached postage label before sending the other heater or refunding,! It just will not upload the photo what ever i try!

·5 days agoStill not working correctly for me, been around 3 weeks and agents say will raise tech ticket then hear nothing until last one then following day email to say no issues. if no longer an issue why have i had to stop uploading listings and the ones i have uploaded only got 1 or a few pictures, I doubt a buyer would buy an item without being able to see its colour or design or image with dimensions, so I am in effect using my listing credits from subscription to list pointless listings which will not sell. only winner her is ebay. any credits back or similar questions get swept away and not replied to.

·1 week agoSame for me - started around 10am this morning and still not sorted. Can upload about 20% of my pics only before I get the 'upload failed -try again' on the others. Cache clearing and using other browsers makes no difference. Annoying because sales are typically good on a bank holiday weekend at the end of a month when folk have been paid! I have items already listed that are selling this evening - but can't upload replacements.

·1 week ago · EditedI can usually list 20 to 30 items an hour today I have done 40 since starting at midday. over 8 hours since eBay said tech was looking in to it and I have not seen and news yet. Today my sales have been less than half the 12 month daily average and since it is payday for most people (those paid last Friday of the month and those paid on the last working Day) I think the problem could be worse than eBay are letting on. How have other sellers doing in terms of sales?

·1 week agoThis is ridiculous. Constant bugs and glitches with no acknowledgement or apology from ebay. If we as sellers lose a day because we can't list anything due to eBay's incompetence, then we should be entitled to financial compensation. One down day equates to 3.3% of a month and when my featured shop costs £77 a month I should be entitled to a refund about £2.50 for that lost day.
Because it's a small amount, I can't see anyone pressing for a refund but if we could all somehow get together to apply pressure on ebay then maybe they will take notice. Or maybe not, as they clearly don't give a toss about sellers, only their own interests.

·1 week agoso ...... website not uploading pictures and constant errors - however, save as draft, open in the app and the app can upload pictures........ which save/edit and show on the website....
shame the app is still showing the glitchy description coding issue

·1 week agoIt astonishes me that a company the size of eBay seem to have no concept of testing prior to going live. It seems to me that this issue has to be associated with the change in photo layouts when viewing listings. Every time they mess with something they break it. Amateurs.
