PHOTOS FAILED TO UPLOAD

Hi All,
Thank you for your patience while tech worked on the fix. They have confirmed this issue as resolved. This is for the reported issue on the 28th of August.Photo uploads should be back working as normal. Users may need to refresh the page or sign out and back in and try the upload again.

·1 week ago · EditedUploading is taking 10 times longer than doing the listing! Annoyingly it started with just video which I overcame by making sure the format was H264, and then converting to mp4 format with an external editor, since then most of my jpeg pics load and then show bad format, size etc all checked and all good.
Today 4 listing's with 70 pictures took me 3 hours and I gave up with my last listing.
Ebay shows no problems, I beg to differ, not the way I want to run my business, wasted hours unpaid.

·1 week agoI've been having the exact same issue with photo uploads since this afternoon. The error pops up on two different accounts and across two different browsers (Firefox and Chrome).
I spent 2-3 hours today resetting my phone, clearing my computer, and fighting with files because I simply couldn't believe it was eBay's fault again. I was completely convinced my own equipment had suddenly died on me!
Since the system is so effectively blocking us from working and listing our stock today, I hope eBay will at least waive our selling fees for this month or offer some compensation for the wasted time and nerves. :D

·1 week agoTried all workarounds suggested. Still having major issues. Not what I need heading into a payday bank-holiday weekend. Please sort it out eBay - and how about communicating with your users in a way that all can see "we're sorry WE'RE having issues at this time", rather than fobbing off sellers with a "it's a you problem" response.

·1 week agofor e-bay to say this problem is fixed is I'm afraid to say rubbish. I reported this at lunchtime and was told by the rep that there is a global problem. As can be seen on a number off screen shots on here everyone is having the same problem with uploading phots - they are not working end of!
This has cost two of us half a days work each already. When are e-bay going to get this sorted?

What's going on I have a lot of new stock to list. Come on eBay sort it out.
There is a certain ring of AI about this aka Vinted.

Thank you for your post.
Having checked with tech we haven't had recent reports of this. Try clearing the app cache, signing out and back in. Its also good to check your network connection as any slowness or interruptions can impact uploading.

Lots of us having the same problem: when creating a listing (in my case using Chrome on Win 11 on a laptop), most photos are coming up with 'Upload failed - Try again'. Could this be flagged to technical please? Was working fine last night (Thurs) but is going wrong since this morning (Fri).

It has already been reported to tech as we received other user reports this morning. They are working on resolving it so once I have confirmation of the fix I will post back.

·2 weeks agoI'm unsure if it relates to OP, but i'm having problems uploading from mobile, i press upload from mobile on my laptop, then i'm stuck in a never ending blue whirl that never works and am unable to upload photos.

We haven't had further reports of issues with photo uploads today. Delete your recent cache and cookies, sign back in and try again. It might also be worth trying to download and save your photos to your laptap first in a separate folder and then try uploading them from there. It would also good to check your network connection as any slowness or interruptions can impact uploading.

·1 month agoSame issue here this afternoon, I am lucky if 50% of them upload, and it is never the same ones that fail to upload, make the whole process pointless when trying sell new items
