Navigating Return Labels After Refund
Summary: ha-307803 is facing an issue with returning a faulty projector after receiving a refund, as they cannot access the return label through the system. papso22 advised that once a refund is issued, a seller needs to directly provide a label or cover the postage cost. ha-307803 plans to reach out again, concerned about dealing with automated responses and potential impacts on their rating.
I've encountered an issue where I've received a refund for a faulty projector, but I can't access the return label. The system only shows me a message saying, 'You got a Refund,' and redirects me without providing a label. Despite reaching out to the seller, they've been unable to assist.
Has anyone experienced something similar, and how did you resolve it? Is there a workaround within eBay's system, or a method to ensure I can still return the product without incurring extra costs? Sharing detailed steps or advice would be greatly appreciated!

·1 month agoOnce a refund has been given there is no longer any way to access an ebay return label. If the seller wants it back they have to work with you directly to provide a label or the postage cost.

OP1 month agoThank you. I will try that but I seemed to have been dealing with a bot. I hope this doesn't affect my rating if I have no luck. Cheers

·1 month agoWill not affect you but seller should never have refunded until item was returned.
Depending on reason for return determines who pays return postage. From what you say seller should have provided label, but by refunding the label will not be available.
It does pay for both buyers and sellers to understand how systems work, then things work smoothly, but ebay systems are not flexible for what should be simple transactions.
