My buyer's purchase disappear from Ebay System

Please see related messages below following a funds stopped message I messaged and refunded the buyer as below. However, the Ebay system did not process the buyers purchase as normal and hence I lost the sale at £25. This is a concern and how did it happen?

"Hi I am sorry about this as I was completely unaware of your purchase. I did notice an initil alert but no follow up message from Ebay with delivery details. The sprayer also disappeared from my seller list. I apologies again as this is the only time something like this has happened. If you no longer want it I am very happy to refund and will do so now.

I've just checked this for you, and your purchase history seems to be there no problem. Maybe try clearing the caches and cookies of your browser, and click here again to see your purchase history.

Ah I see what you mean, that was my bad sorry. Just to make sure, so the problem is that the buyer couldn't place the order as all the transaction details disappeared from their end? If so, it was more likely an issue from their end, and if that was the case they'd need to contact us directly, so we can look into it.
However, I wouldn't worry too much about something like that happening again, of course we would need to wait and see what actually happened there, but we have no reports suggesting details just disappearing before placing an order at the moment, so I don't think this would prevent you from getting any sales in the future.

The buyer placed and paid of the order that I didn't recieve any notification about until he claimed a refund because it wasn't delivered.
