They arrogantly assume the AI will answer - It cant answer even the most basic question.
They arrogantly assume the help pages cover all subjects. - They dont! You just get sent in circles from the AI to the help pages. Neither are any good!

·1 month agoDid you buy these off ebay? It's just you mention you purchased from Superdrug, Charlotte Tilbury and Card Factory - but these companies (as far as I know) do not sell on ebay.
In any event, if you ordered items at the end of July on ebay and it hasn't arrived - you won't get any help from ebay as its likely outside the 30 day money back guarantee period.

My problem was promptly and effectively delt with in 3 days. I would recommend using it.

Order number:03-14858-60888 but was never dispatched.
I was repeatedly promised that it would be sent later or that I would receive a refund, but the seller continued to delay under the reason of giving birth to a baby boy, then she had a complications after cesarean, then the baby boy is in & out of the hospital due to the bad heart condition... etc. this was going on & on playing with my kindness and understanding until 30 days had passed since my purchase & only then I understood that this was a scam because the seller began already ignoring my messages with repeated polite requests for a refund of £170.00. I have been patient & understanding of her situation, but in reality she was stretching time until it was too late for me to get in contact with eBay customer service help. I thought I had given the seller more than enough opportunity to resolve this matter which could be done within a minute from anywhere (home or hospital), but my money has still not been returned and the seller is now refusing to communicate.
I would like eBay Customer Service to intervene and investigate this matter as a potential fraudulent/theft and assist me in obtaining my full refund of £170.00 without any further delay, but there is no chance to contact eBay at all. Can somebody advise me please how eBay can help me to get my stolen money back?

·1 month agoEBay won’t help. They are very clear there is a 30 day window to claim under the money back guarantee. No exceptions.
Depending on how you paid, you may be able to claim via your payment provider.

What rights you had depend on if you purchased from a private or business seller, though enforcing those rights might prove tricky.

·1 month agoIt's not easy to get hold of Customer Services, you need to go top left of your eBay page to Help & Contact, and keep typing in... ' I wish to speak to an agent' you may eventually get through.
Or better still, come back here, explain your issue, and the many experienced members here are happy to help.
It's quicker and may I say you may well get better results asking here!

FYI, its probabably not so much arrogance, its really laziness and denial of responsibility, along with a good dose of UNWISDOM (my chosen word would propbably get me another ban). ·1 month agoI received my item but it was completely damaged and needs to be replaced or refunded. Contacted seller but for some reason they couldn't find my order so wanted the order number. I gave them that but now I can't get any response from them. Won't be bothering with eBay again.

·1 month agoMessage the seller no more, just proceed this way:
Go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select Return this item. Select the reason Item Not as Described >> Does Not Match Description or Photos, or if it's there ' Damaged in Transit'.
The seller needs to either refund you in 3 days, or issue a pre paid return label for the return of their item. Once the item is received, they have 48 hours to refund you.
If this doesn't happen, you need to escalate to eBay, eBay step in and force the refund.
Listen to no excuses or promises from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.

·1 month agoMuch harder these days to actually speak to someone. If you go to the contact us page on a mobile you can sometimes get a call back link, though not always.
Beat first port of all is to put your issue here. In a good number of cases, issues can be resolved without needing to contact customer services.

Top left of your eBay page, keep typing Speak to an Agent, over and over and eventually you May be put through!
Much quicker would be to come back here, preferably start a new thread so your question can be seen quickly, explain the issue you have, there are many very experienced members here happy to help.

·1 month agoThose dates are only estimates, not a definite day for delivery so worth waiting a few more days.
When a reasonable time passes your item's last estimated date for delivery, and you still have not received the item, and the seller is not being helpful, go right of the item purchased, and from More Actions select.... I Have Not Received My Item.
If you are not fully refunded within 3 days, you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case, and eBay will step in and force the refund.
Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give, and do not forget to escalate.

Check your address there are 5 to check, and perhaps amend, especially check your delivery address with the link below.

·1 month agoIs that the seller's username ID , and you bought this desk from them ?
Then click on your purchased item, and from the right from More Actions select Contact Seller, and ask them for those instructions.

·1 month agoYou can't update it. What will happen is this...
If the buyer was paying for the label - they will get a refund in 30 days
You will get paid, eventually - but there will be a hold of at least 14 days
The buyer could make a claim of item not received - if that does happen - you can upload the new tracking code to the case which ebay will use to review.

·1 month agoBrought a fan online i waited over a monthto find out it was stolen in transit waited another month for a redelivery when it arrived box was broken item damaged Ebay said they would step within 48 hours after the seller didn't get back to me I HAVE REQUESTED A REFUND STILL WAITING FOR EBAY TO GET BACK TO ME ON THIS MATTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????

·1 month agoeBay has a 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee policy to cover non delivered or damaged in transit items. Any case opened now eBay will not reply because you are unfortunately far too late to claim from them.
Try your payment provider they should help with your refund here.

·1 month agoIt might well be free postage - however, it depends if you selected for delivery to your address, or if you selected for delivery to a collection location (which you may have done).
Best to check the address first on the order- just go to your order history.

·1 month agoRIght - so its a collect from the seller you've chosen by the sounds of things.
If the seller is not responding - there's little you can do - ebay won't be able to help as its the seller that needs to provide the details.
You can cancel the order but you'll need to wait until the estimated delivery date has passed and open an Item hasn't arrived case with ebay.

·1 month agoI need to return 3 items, otherwise this will go from a Visa Dispute and they will refund my money and then take the money direct from Ebay, Where are my Invoices the CD was 3.50 NEW so it said when placing the order its an older style but this has been copied by a German company these are sealed as New I am not opening them at all I am going to send back to Ebay UK from the place that I originally placed the order. You have compromised my card details. as know 69.99 has been taken for a CD why is it Ebay are having a do not care attitude its appalling taking my money its FRAUD. confirm your details and will send back to your give me copy invoice so I can return one to you with goods. I am waiting for the information now so I can get in the post tomorrow morning please confirm or its it all a waste of time and I go thru the bank to get the money back your choice.

To answer your question, you need to open a case for item not received and escalate on day 4 if not refunded before hand.
Do not close the case early no matter what the seller says, and do not forget to escalate.

The AI couldn’t even locate the order even after using my keyboard to type the last 5 digits of my order number. That AI should be upgrade to pass on calls to a real person and not ending the call
