age verification
I am unable to purchase items that require afe verification as I don't have a credit card I'm 61 in a couple weeks and want to buy a chainsaw it's very frustrating ,and my account has been valid since early 2000s so common sense says im over 25 at least ,any ideas

·1 week agoCurrently only a ( monthly payment ) Personal named Credit Card entry to confirm your age is acceptable to eBay --- nothing else will do !! --- an everyday use Debit Card will not be accepted.
Perhaps a friend or family member can buy on your behalf ?.

I appreciate this process can be frustrating and we will share your feedback on this. Currently the credit card option is the only system that eBay has in place to verify users being over 18.
