Why has eBay Customer Support disappeared?
Summary: stegabyte is facing issues with several items that were recalled for safety reasons on eBay. Despite these items being deleted and not available, they continue to receive warnings and are unable to remove them due to limited options. Attempts to contact eBay customer service have been frustrating due to an unhelpful bot system. stegabyte is seeking advice on how to delete these items permanently from their account.
I have 4 items that have issues, (from a selling point of view). 2 have been recalled for product safety. 1 is a police light, 1 is a set of cutlery - knives - A bit harsh, but I get it. I still get warnings about them each time I log on. They were all deleted, so they are not available, but I dont know how to delete them. I get the option to resolve, but there is nothing to resolve, they are what they are, they just need removing - but I cannot do this? I have spent such a long time trying to get hold of a human at customer services, but they just use a shit bot system with no alternative routes to human contact. As a last resort, I am trying to get help on here.
I want to know how to delete items that have already been pulled by ebay - as the only option I can see is to resolve them, which then says its not available when you click on it.

Hi @stegabyte ,
Thank you for your post.
The policy records don't remove automatically when you have ended the listings. Once you have already ended them then that's it taken care of. I understand it being a pain to have them there when logging in and while I don't have a timeframe on it they usually remove themselves after a period of time.
Thank you,
Kat
