SALES have collapsed on ebay
Summary: billh59 and other participants are experiencing a significant decline in sales on eBay, attributing it to potential issues with the platform's algorithm and missing 'premium service' logos on their listings. Despite contacting eBay for assistance, billh59 has not seen any resolution. sticky_glue_ltd suspects that listings are being deprioritized in favor of those paying for promotions, expressing frustration over fees. ascotscalemodels shares similar concerns, contemplating leaving the platform due to low sales and challenging buyer expectations.
Has anyone else had MAJOR fall off in sales
over the last week. 1 x sale Saturday, 1 x sale Tuesday,
1 x sale Wednesday. Sales have fallen off the edge of a cliff.
UPDATE....NO sales at all Thursday, 1 x sale Friday.
It is costing me more in ebay listing fee's,
than I making in ebay sales.
I cannot keep paying out more than I making in sales.
I have contacted ebay BUT nothing has changes SO FAR?
Also notice the "ebay premium service" wording is missing?
Also my "ebay premium service" logo
is missing off some of my items, is it a technical issue?
Thanks Bill H

·1 month agoHappening exactly the same to me. The AI is pushing down or ghosting out our listings so the accounts with promotions are in favour. Never ever in history of almost 20 years selling on eBay I had that bad sales in the last 2 weeks. this is not seasonal product that i sell it's every day use and prices are 50% of the market value so me thinks time to say bye to eBay and look for somewhere else. Enough is enough. I ain't paying any more % on top of 19% that they charge. 19% is a robbery already

OP1 month agoI'm at a loss what to do, I'm getting on in age,
I've only ever sold on ebay, for over 26 years.
I cannot continue paying their fee's, when getting NO sales in return.
I have spoken to an advisor about the problem,
got an email saying they would be in touch
with 24 to 48 hours, still waiting.....

·Jul 18, 2026 at 9:02 AMMe too and I'll be retiring in a few years.I enjoyed the early years on here but now it's almost impossible to sell items at a good price and buyers want everything at knock down prices or offer silly money.I have plenty of watchers and views but no sales, maybe time to knock it on the head as I can't be bothered anymore.
