Overseas buyer is unable to bid
I have two items listed which I expect to sell in the USA, however, I have been told by potential bidders there that they say "seller will not ship to USA". I haven't excluded North America and I have chosen ebay's own international shipping service. The items are model cars which I assume are not prohibited. What am I doing wrong?

·1 month ago · EditedI'm in Canada. I checked your auction listing page for the American Austin panel truck model. The United States isn't listed as a shipping location for that auction, and to complicate things further, the Global Shipping Program (GSP) hasn't been applied to it, either, which means that while you show the item available for shipping to a number of international destinations, there's no shipping rate or method listed. Instead there's a message for non-UK buyers to contact you for shipping information.
I'm guessing that the United States has been removed as a shipping location while those running the GSP try to figure out how the newly enforced US Consumer Product Safety Commission regulations apply to various items imported into the US as casual imports. I'm going to go further and also guess that the removal of shipping rates for other countries is a glitch related to the removal of the United States as a shipping location.
More information on the CPSC regulations can be found here and elsewhere:

·1 month agoWell, it’s out of your hands if you don’t want to or can’t use an alternative to the Global Shipping Program, I suppose.
