Ordered by mistake
Twice in the last 10 days i have sold an item only later the buyer states it had been ordered by mistake and wishes to withdraw from the sale. You are given the option to decline the request but my fear then is that I am given bad feedback. It used to be that a bid was a binding contract is this no longer the case. I find it very frustrating and wonder whether it is time to leave ebay as a selling site as everything is always in favor of the buyer

·1 month agoITs very annoying when people do this, and worse still, (we had this recently) a buyer won an auction item only to cancel 10 minutes later as he had found at a better price! (they went straight on to the blocked list)
We always accept the cancellations, as buyers will then find any excuse to return the item, and more often than not it means you as the seller will end up paying the return postage.
In any auction not just here, the bid is binding but regardless of where if and but there will always be people that wont pay etc. It happens everywhere not just here.
