Jewellery buyer issue
The piece of jewellery in question was brand new and never worn. Was revived by the buyer on Friday and had been worn since. They now say that the pearl from the ring has fallen out. I have a photograph and the ring is not at all damaged and to reinstate the pearl would be a very simple matter. What do I do, I feel I am being made to feel responsible.

·Jul 19, 2026 at 6:38 PMAs a private seller you can reject change of mind return requests. You can’t reject return requests such as item not as described. well you can but eBay would just refund out of your money.
Now, if it was sent with simple delivery you could get the buyer to open an item arrived damaged case. EBay should take over those and refund the customer themselves (you keep the funds)
