How is this allowed on Ebay?
Summary: yukw73 expressed concern about receiving a counterfeit Braun shaver head from eBay, noting differences in material and lack of branding. 4_bathrooms and **peaseblossom** suggested opening a return request using specific reasons like "Doesn't seem authentic" or "Item doesn't match description" to ensure a full refund. tressygirl advised contacting Braun if multiple fake items were being sold, as Braun could then request eBay to take action. yukw73 agreed to follow this advice.
I ordered Braun shaver head.
Left is what I received and right is the original Braun head.
Left is not even authentic Braun head but it's wrapped in Braun packaging. I know it's not authentic because
It's missing product and model engraving
and everything about the materials is different - I mean the visual difference speaks for itself.
However, when I reported to Ebay, they found it okay.
Does it mean that every seller can for example, sell fake iphones from Temu and sell it as real Iphones on Ebay?

If so, you could if you wish , contact Braun with the information you found. It's up to them then to then contact eBay, and if they do and wish for the items / seller to be removed, eBay would act on their request.

·1 month agoDid you open a return? You can do that on here:

select "Item doesn't match description" and escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.

·1 month ago · EditedIf you open a return request selecting "Doesn't seem authentic" as the reason the seller has no option other than to issue a return label or a refund. In either case you are guaranteed a full refund as per eBay's Money Back Guarantee provided you open the return request within the MBG window.
