Funds being held longer than 2 calendar days?

Anyone else experiencing this? Funds were meant to be released yesterday (17th) but haven’t. Phoned up multiple times. Promised manual releases that never happened. Been told there’s an ongoing site problem and that I’m a priority as my case was one of the first to be raised. Still no funds. This is been going on for over 24 hours now and still no update.

·Jul 18, 2026 at 7:04 PMI am experiencing the same problem - funds for 17th & 18th not appearing. I did though have one small payment land an hour ago for one item but nothing since. Does anyone know if it`s resolved yet?

·Jul 18, 2026 at 3:32 PMI'm also waiting for funds that were due to be released yesterday and today (17 and 18 July). I've not received any information on why the funds are still on hold, and there are no disputes on my account. I wonder how many people are affected by the site problem? Does it have anything to do with the Thursday night maintenance window? I had a flurry of sales at the start of the month, and all funds up to 16 July were released on the estimated release date. If anyone gets any updates, please share them here. Thanks.

·Jul 18, 2026 at 3:07 PMI guess the staffers have to toe the line and say what the bosses tell them.... if eBay where a but more honest with the actual situation I'm sure more folks would be inclined to stay.... not me, I've had enough of the BS.

·Jul 18, 2026 at 2:27 PMI have exactly the same issue, says funds would be released yesterday but no sign of it, the listing I sold says delivered and still says funds to be released to ebay balance yesterday.
People saying this is due to payment holds ITS NOT, no holds detected according to account.
So im inclined to think ebay have some sort of issue of course getting hold of a real person is like pulling teeth.

OPJul 18, 2026 at 2:37 PMThe communication from the team has been awful. Been told about six times I’ve had manual releases . Also got told the funds will be there first thing this morning. Last agent I spoke to said it’ll only take a few hours for the glitch to be fixed and they declared it as a problem 8am BST this morning. Bear in mind I reported this all of yesterday and was told to wait.

·Jul 18, 2026 at 1:41 PMSame here, eBay has gone down the pan. Amazon far far better at resolving issues. I will leave eBay when I've got the funds that were due yesterday and promised to me 3+ hours ago.

OPJul 18, 2026 at 1:48 PMEven the leadership has promised me the release of the funds. Never again. It was only the other week I had problems with a delay with them sending money to my bank. Again another technical glitch.

Still on hold. I mailed them yesterday and told me to wait 24 hours.
Today I mailed again, the answer: Wait more 24 hours.
Funds not available.

You received a standard reply I'm afraid reading between the lines it does mean they are working on the issue, but truly cannot give you an exact time of a fix !
